FAQs
What is the ideal age range for infant massage classes?
Between 3 weeks to crawling age.
Can I come if I'm still pregnant?
Absolutely! Bring a life-sized baby doll to class for practice.
Are there private in-home classes?
Yes! This is a great way for older siblings and extended family to learn as well! Contact us directly to schedule.
Can I bring other children/siblings to group class?
It is preferred to have one-to-one time with your newborn during the group sessions, as other children may distract or interupt other parents' experience.
What to bring to class?
Bring your baby and usual baby supplies, blanket and pillow. We will be having class on the floor (yoga mats provided), so please wear comfortable clothing and clean socks, as we may be in a shoe-free facility.
What to expect?
Each class is 60-90 minutes and will begin on time. Organic vegetable-based oil for infant massage will be provided, as well as handouts to take home.
Where are group classes located?
Wednesday classes take place inside the Pure Barre Studio in Coeur d'Alene, and the Saturday classes take place inside the North Idaho Physical Therapy offices in Hayden.
When NOT to come to class?
Please do not attend class if you experience any of the following: You or your child is not feeling well; You or your child has a temperature (fever); You or your child has had recent immunizations (within 48 – 72 hours prior to class).
What if I miss a group class?
The Certified Infant Massage Teacher is available 15 minutes before or after class for explanation and handouts of the missed session. You are also welcome to attend the missed session in the future, if space available. Virtual make up sessions may be available in some circumstances.
Are there refunds?
There are no refunds, however rescheduling and makeup sessions are available.
